Going To the Chapel...

Currently I'm coordinating the wedding of a couple who is very dear to my heart. From The business aspect this wedding is making me see what I'm worth...and its a lot (lol) The couple got engaged in March and will be getting married in July....their love is real so they figured Why Wait?? So we've had to put a year of planning into 3 months...and I must say its coming along beautifully!!! This wedding is like my child...I've been a part of it from the beginning, watching it grow and I can't wait to see it all come together....I think I have more butterflies than the bride and groom!!!!!!!!! Every night as I drift off to sleep I go over the plan for the big day...mapping out my route from the hotel to the church to the reception hall...

Yep, the wedding and the reception are in two different locations....I like this because it goes back to the tradition of having the wedding at the church and then going to the reception hall.....I know, I know....hardly anyone does that anymore but i love the idea of the bride and groom getting in the limo together for a ride as the anxiety settles and the reality of what just took place sinks in....plus...its kinda nostalgic for me...the countless weddings I've been to or been in when I was growing up!! I enjoyed the hustle and bustle of everyone packing up in cars...hoping you had the correct address (B.G.P.S---before GPS days)

...and at cocktail hour everyone talks about what route they took....lolol. I can't wait to see the caravan of cars pulling out with one destination in mind...this time I will be leading the pack as the Event Directress!!! (Wink-Wink)
